What is IAMLADP?
The International Annual Meeting on Language Arrangements, Documentation and Publications (IAMLADP) is an international forum and network of managers of international organizations employing conference and language service providers. It brings together annually representatives of over 80 member organizations to share knowledge and experiences and discuss subjects of common interest.
The Head of the United Nations Department for General Assembly and Conference Management (DGACM) is the permanent Chair of IAMLADP. DGACM also provides technical secretariat to IAMLADP. IAMLADP includes several working groups: on training; on services for conferences and publishing; on language services.
IAMLADP Universities Contact Group
Universities' Contact Group
(UCG) is part of the working group on training. It acts as IAMLADP liaison between international organizations and training providers/universities, by promoting information exchange and cooperation. Organizations can use this avenue to inform universities of the applicable requirements, any anticipated skill gaps, etc., and universities can conversely contribute to the professions.
